Registration is open for our next upcoming AGING WELL SPEAKER SERIES (AWSS) on Thursday October 9, 4:30p-6:00p at CMC Edwards, presented by Caregiver Connections and Eagle County Healthy Aging. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.
This topic is on everyone's minds... "The 5 M's of Geriatric Medicine." Guest speakers from CU Geriatric Medicine program (Dr. Mandy Peng, MD and Dr. Keren Blackman, MD) share a framework for promoting well-being and healthy aging in older adults. This is a comprehensive approach to compassionate, person-centered care that puts you and your well-being at the center.
This talk is for anyone - older adults, family members, or caregivers - to learn how to approach aging with dignity and focus on what truly matters. Covering five key areas:
   1) Mind (cognitive health)
   2) Mobility (physical function)
   3) Medications (safe & appropriate)
   4) Multi-complexity (multiple chronic conditions)
   5) What Matters Most (personal values, goals and purpose)
AGING WELL SPEAKER SERIES, presented by Caregiver Connections and Eagle County Healthy Aging.
